Last May, students of BS Tourism Management and BS Hospitality Management were given the opportunity to embark on an In-port Vessel Familiarization Tour of MV 2GO Maligaya.
This tour was a part of their curriculum, specifically for the subjects of Tour and Travel Management and Philippine Tourism, Geography, and Culture. It was a valuable experience for the students, as it provided them with a unique perspective on hospitality and tourism management in diverse settings.
Through this tour, students were able to familiarize themselves with the different aspects of hospitality and tourism within a ship setting. This included gaining knowledge on the vessel’s organizational structure, ship nomenclature, and directions.
