The Norwegian Shipowners’ Association (NSA), together with the Company Representatives eagerly visited the NSA 29th Batch Scholars of the institute. A total of 117 Cadets attended the Parents’ Meeting and Pre-Embarkation Orientation at DMMA College of Southern Philippines on June 02, 2024.
The Pre-embarkation Orientation was attended by Shipping Company Representatives from Hoegh LNG, Awilco, Stodig Shipmanagement, Solstad Offshore, Hoegh Fleet Services and Odfjell Ship Management. It was then followed by the company orientation and dialogue giving the parents and cadets opportunities to have a meaningful discussion with the representatives regarding their status, training, employment, and other crucial details for their embarkation.
The event fueled hope and excitement in the cadets and parents as they took the first step towards achieving a significant milestone. Moreover, the event equipped the cadets with the information they need especially during embarkation period.
