DMMA College of Southern Philippines and the Philippine Coast Guard have continuously shown their commitment to empowering and supporting young women to pursue a career at sea.
Through this successful collaboration, the PCG was able to provide valuable knowledge, and hands-on experience for 50 female cadets during the Open Ship Tour at DPWH Panacan Port Davao City ICOW on March 8, 2024.
This event was a remarkable demonstration of how diverse groups can unite to promote gender equality, inclusion, and motivate the next generation of female maritime professionals.
